Information about Godzilla:
In 1954, Godzilla wreaked havoc on the world – at least, that was how the Japanese filmmaker depicted it on the silver screen. In the movie, the beast rose from the depths of the sea after a nuclear accident. With its immense powers, there was no stopping the monster. Hence, a strain named after it must have to mean something.
Credit goes to Caña de España for unleashing Godzilla. Unlike many hybrids that are typically crossbred, this one is a phenotype of God Bud (from Jordan of the Islands). For sure, it does not kill people, but the reference to the fictional monster may as well be because of its crushing Indica traits.
As a phenotype, much of the traits of the plant is similar to its predecessor. If there is one distinction that matters to recreational users, it is that Godzilla is not likely to cause an almost hallucinogenic high that God Bud potentially can.

Having THC levels ranging from 15% to 18%, Godzilla is above average with regards to its potency. Hence, users should not underestimate it. Otherwise, using too much can lead to overwhelming high.
Upon smoking Godzilla, it delivers a gentle yet rapid rush that leaves users feeling euphoric and delighted. An uplifting sensation then spreads from the mind to the body accompanied by a boost in energy. It results in clear-headed high with a heightened sense of focus.
As the cerebral high induces happiness, its physical effects continue to make its way to the body. Beginning with a gentle warmth that soothes the body, it comes kicking in after a while leaving users in deep relaxation.
Before the strain delivers its devastating body high, the first thing noticeable about Godzilla is, of course, its scent. It has a sour berry odor with a subtle note of spice. A very slight hint of skunk may also be present.
Just like its fragrance, Godzilla surprises and excites the taste buds at the same time. It has a prominent berry flavor with a slight hint of vanilla on the exhale. The smoke from the strain is mellow, thereby, can glide down the throat smoothly.
For the most part, marijuana strains cause mild and sometimes annoying side effects. Godzilla is no different. When smoking it, users are likely to experience dry mouth as the psychedelic high takes effect. Soon, it may be followed by dry eyes too.
The Godzilla strain is also advantageous for medical cannabis users. Like mentioned earlier, the high can linger for 4 hours. For this reason, using this fantastic nugget can sort out mental or physical troubles one may be having, thereby, providing a more extended relief until users ascend into comfort.
Be it brought by daily hassles or medical conditions, smoking the strain is an excellent way to melt away mild to moderate stress. Also, for chronically and medically depressive, it is a good companion at low points. That is because of Godzilla’s powerful ability to turn gloom into bloom. Moreso, insomniacs can also achieve healthy sleeping habits upon consuming this marijuana.
More than its mentally calming qualities, Godzilla’s analgesic properties are also adequate to soothe aches and pains from simple headaches to joint pains.
As one may expect, Godzilla has buds the size of its film character counterpart. The flowers are massive, compact, and feathery. It has loose mint green leaves alongside dense amber pistils. Cultivating this strain is not complicated, and it thrives in both indoors and outdoors.
Because of the closely-packed leaves, it is difficult for light to reach tight spaces. It could also affect air circulation. Hence, indoor growers will want to do regular trimming and pruning. Outside, it is best grown in an area where it is humid and warm.
In a short span of 8 to 9 weeks, Godzilla already generates beautiful buds. Provided that growing requirements such as ample lighting, air, water, nutrients, and the appropriate environment have been met, the strain can yield a generous 18 ounces of buds per square meter.
When the strain is grown outdoors, it calls for hot climate with sufficient humidity. In the last week or right at the end of September, Godzilla completely reaches maturity and is ready for harvest. Growers should look forward to an insane production of 20 ounces or more for each plant.
