What water to give marijuana plants
If you want to spend a lot of money and suffer a hernia at the end of the year, use mineral water for your marijuana plants. In all other circumstances it is better just to use tap water, even if it needs extra treatment.
Two requirements for using tap water:
-Keep the water in an open reservoir for 24 hours. This ensures the chloride evaporates. (Tap water usually contains too much chloride).
-Adjust the pH value. Use gauging and acidic solution to ensure the right pH value. The pH value of tap water is often very acid, while the value for the marijuana plants should be about 6.5.
A reversed osmosis filter can give an even better quality of water, although you need double the amount of water desired to ensure pure water without bad minerals.
