Information about Milliard Reflective Mylar Hydroponic Grow Tent with Window:
So, we all know why we want to have a grow tent in our house. Of course, it is used to grow the plants we all have come to love. But first, why do you want to have a grow tent? Is it because you could picture all the mouth-watering fruits and flavor-enhancing herbs in your mind?
The good news is that with the use of a grow tent, everything you envisioned is real. Hydroponics is a great system of growing plants since the days of the Hanging Garden of Babylon. That same hydroponic technology is possible inside your garage, cellar, attic, wherever you have space inside your house.
Using the Milliard Reflective Mylar Hydroponic Grow Tent plus the right lightnings provide the environment that is best suited for the plant of your choice.
And for those who are thinking of growing cannabis? The very same reasons why plants are kept sealed inside a grow tent also become the reason why no one would know you are planting cannabis. Unless you allow people to come in and you show them the grow tent, sealing it keeps the odor from escaping and possibly letting your neighbors know.
So, let’s find out if the featured product here is the right one for you, shall we?

Note: Before picking a specific size, be sure to read customer reviews and feedbacks. Even if the sizes are given, the actual product may be a little smaller. This is important to know if you have a need for exact measurements. Also, for those who picked lighting tubes, allow for allowance so that the tubes would fit in nicely.
INTERIOR. Milliard has an internal reflective material that reflects the light back to the plants. This is beneficial to the plants because rather than receiving lights from above, the sides provide a more even distribution and could reach the bottom parts of your precious babies.
METAL FRAMING. Milliard has always used metal tubing for the frame. It also includes metal rings where grow lights could be attached. The new models now also feature durable metal push-locks with push release for easy and tool-less assembly. Instead of twisting nuts and bolts, you only insert and push, and then it will lock into place.
OTHERS. Milliard uses a durable zipper for the door. For convenience, there is a window that lets you peek inside without the need to open the door. This helps preserve the growing environment inside. There are several other ports and openings that let you do a lot of things, such as the installation of fans and filters.
EASY CLEANING. To help you keep the area clean, Milliard also included a removable and waterproof Mylar tray.
Does it Measure Up to Expectations
Before assembling the framing, check and make sure that it is clean and free of possible chemical odors, as its presence may affect the plants you are growing.
Thanks to the new metal push-locks with push release, setting up the frame became easier the previous generation of grow tents. Although the tubing is made of metal, it does come with plastic corners. Even if it is engineered to be durable, plastic parts become brittle in time. So, you will want to be careful when assembling and disassembling.
You may also want to prepare a rubber mallet. Fitting the tubing into the corner may be too tight, and you do not want to use anything that might scratch the coating on the tubing.
Putting the Mylar tent over the framing would require two people for this large size. There might not be allowances so you will have to be careful in pulling it down.
In terms of feel, both the metal tubing and tent material feels a little thinner and lighter than other brands. The fabric they use is 600D x 300D with a reflective efficiency of a little over 80%.
Like all other grow tents, there are light leaks especially along the zipper. While most of the pinhole leaks can be taken care of with small dots of glue, some customers have reported that this tent seems to have more leaks than other brands.
Buy or Pass on the Milliard Reflective Mylar Hydroponic Grow Tent
In choosing the best grow tent for you, one thing you will want to consider is to pick a few of the ones you like. After that, the next thing to do is to make sure the ideal size you need is available.
Although many other grow tents use the D-style doors, Milliard also has a couple of sizes that uses the H-style, if that is what you would prefer.
For instance, in terms of fabric material, another brand VIVASUN uses 600D Mylar that has a reflective efficiency of 95%. Clearly, this is a thicker fabric that you would like to have. But it is no good to you if they do not have the right size, or unavailable.
Milliard’s hydroponic grow tent will work as advertised. But how well it works over time is for you to decide. Based on customer reviews, there are some concerns that have been previously left by earlier customers.
But the company is great at listening and they did improve the design and quality of their products. For instance, they now use double zipper flaps. In other words, the negative reviews left by some customers might possibly be for older designs.
For comparison, we also have other brands featured here, so you may want to take the time to look at the others. You can buy it here!
