Growing

Purple Diesel can be grown both outdoors and indoors, and could grow well in a Screen of Green (ScrOG) environment. Although this strain is Sativa-dominant, it grows with an indica-hybrid structure. Generally, the plant grows with one main stem with several side branches and has an early flowering time of 8 weeks.

Once growing, the plant will have large dark olive nugs, mint green leaves with purple undertones. A thick layer of milky white trichomes and sticky resin coats the dense buds.

Flowering Time

Indoors

This strain can produce a higher than average yield of 14 oz/m2 indoors. By using the ScrOG method, it is possible to produce an even higher yield with a shorter flowering time.

Outdoors

Not much information is available on how much yield Purple Diesel has when grown outdoors, but it is safe to assume that the yield will be higher than when grown indoors. A good assumption here is between 25 to 35oz/plant. The flowering time outdoors is 8 weeks.
