Weed dinner parties are all the rage right now and I’m not talking about a bunch of twenty somethings gathering in an apartment to smoke up and play video games. I am talking about an actual dinner party with weed, i.e. a fancy gathering with your close friends where you serve a gourmet meal, and of course the dankest buds you can find. There’s no better time to throw a dank dinner party than right now, the weekend before Christmas.
Why Throw a Dank Dinner Party?
There’s an endless amount of reasons why you should throw a dank dinner party. For one, all the cool people are doing it. No seriously, magazines like Vogue are even offering out tips for throwing the perfect dank dinner party, something I never thought I’d see in my lifetime. As we all know, weed is the new, hip thing, never mind the fact that we’ve been using it forever. All of your favorite stars are starting their own cannabis lifestyle brands, and they are raking in the green (ha! In more ways than one). You want to be in on this trend. You’ve got to strike while the iron is hot, right? While you might not be in a position to start your own cannabis brand, you can still indulge live vicariously by throwing a dank dinner party.
Because They’re Fun!
These parties are really fun to throw too. You get to socialize and eat tons delicious food, an experience that can only be enhanced by some good herb. It’s a great chance to bond with your closest friends, let loose, and have a great time. In my opinion, few things bring people together like sharing in some kindbud. The best conversations I’ve had in my life have been while I’ve been stoned. If you’re looking to reconnect with old friends, or even an old flame, what better way than through the magic of a dank dinner party?
Throwing a dank dinner party is also a great way to impress people. If you live in the right area, you may even end up attracting some A-list names to your casa! Some of LA’s most famous chefs are beginning to experiment with cannabis infused meals, and these dishes are really special. For the right price you could even hire one of these chefs for your gathering. Even if the price is too steep for you to handle on your own, you can always split the difference with some friends.
Enough About Why, How do I Throw One?
Of course, if you don’t live in a swank neighborhood in LA, Denver, or Seattle, you can still throw your own dank dinner party pretty easily. First, you have to determine what kind of dinner party you want to throw. Is it going to be an affair where you offer your guests different types of cannabis to taste before you serve dinner? Will the dishes themselves be infused with cannabis? This is the first thing you need to figure out. Of course, for your first dank dinner party, it would probably be easier to have different strains for your guests to sample, prior to serving them a delicious meal.
I’m a Good Ganja Chef, I Can Make My Own Infused Dishes
If you are an accomplished cannabis chef, then by all means, research some delicious recipes to add some weed into. If you go the second route, it’s always a good idea to test your recipes out on yourself or a willing guinea pig. I’m sure you can find one.
Then there’s of course the wine. Cannabis and wine are a match made in heaven. Something about the tannins in wine and the terpenes in weed really make for the perfect duet. You can even surprise your guests with some cannabis infused wine to go along with dessert! This winery out in California is taking preorders on their new cannabis wine, which ships out in January, when the recreational market opens.
It’s the best time to throw a dank dinner party. Christmas is practically here and everyone is going to be throwing parties. Why not throw the dankest?
