Snow Monster is a relatively unknown strain that has only recently made its mark. One reason for this is that it has been elusive. In other words, not a lot of people can buy this strain as in the rare times that it has appeared on the market, it is gobbled in no time at all. Further compounding the rarity of this hybrid, it is unknown when the breeder is going to make its seeds available.
Information about Snow Monster:
For years, Exotic Genetix has been cultivating, breeding, and distributing hybrids. To create Snow Monster, they used two notable strains.
One is Starfighter, an Indica-dominant strain bred by Alien Genetics. As its name implies, sparkling trichomes cover its buds. However, the breeder has discontinued this hybrid. Hence, Exotic Genetics had to use one phenotype that is closest to the original in its place.
Another strain used is The White (originally called Triangle). If the Starfighter shines like the stars lighting up the universe, this second hybrid is even more impressive. Think of a piece of cannabis bud rolled in sugar. In many ways, it is underappreciated due to its lack of flavor. Nonetheless, it does not take away the fact is it is a very potent strain.
Both these strains lean toward the Indica side. Hence, it is not a surprise that Snow Monster also inherited that trait. But more importantly, our featured hybrid is able to deliver a strong full-body relaxation with gentle cerebral effects. It also has its lineage to thank for on its appearance. The white crystals covering its buds, in this case, is the reason for its name.

Most Indica-dominant strains have one thing in common upon use. They tend to begin with a cerebral high before the Indica properties creep into the body. At 70% Indica, it is easy for people to assume that it is not any different. Perhaps that is true but only to a certain degree.
As Snow Monster works its way into the head inducing a euphoric cerebral high, users can already feel a warm and uplifting sensation washing all over their body. Such pleasant feeling, of course, influences happiness. In many cases too, users tend to have a heightened sensitivity and sense of focus.
As the intensity of the physical high increases, users find themselves in full-body relaxation. Soon, most would also feel lazy. Even with moderate use, the potent Snow Monster can induce couch-lock.
Feeling completely at ease, many users may also experience a foggy mind that is similar to mild alcohol intoxication. Unable to move, users let themselves drown in a euphoric bliss until they fall asleep.
Snow Monster emits a pungent odor of damp earth with a skunky and sweet note. Once the buds are broken into small pieces, a citrusy note becomes more distinct. Some people may also detect a hint of nuts or coffee.
Some tests have shown the THC content of Snow Monster to be as high as 22% making it insanely potent. Hence, it is more likely to have a more pronounced adverse effect. However, these reactions are nothing new to people who have been using cannabis for a while. Expect to experience dry mouth and eyes (or having red eyes) when using this strain.
The potency of the Indica properties of Snow Monster can cause people to stay on their couch or bed. One big reason for that is its sedating effects. It is also because of this that the strain helps soothe muscles and induce absolute body relaxation. Furthermore, it makes the hybrid quite an efficient painkiller. As such, it becomes valuable to patients who need comfort from the constant pains and aches brought on by chronic diseases, muscle spasms, cramping, and headaches. The same traits that help people deal with pain are also useful as a stress-reliever.
After providing comfort to patients, as Snow Monster induces drowsiness, sleeping becomes easier. So, besides the patients, anyone who has been having trouble sleeping (especially the insomniacs) can use this at the end of the day to get quality sleep.
One thing to note is that most people also tend to feel hungry. It can be used to stimulate the appetite. However, many users may opt to drift off to sleep rather than getting up to eat something. Instead, they will wake up in the morning starving and ready for breakfast.

As mentioned earlier, Snow Monster does not seem to be available in seed form. Although there is no mention of it as being clone-only, it is more likely that supply is limited. If one were to cultivate the plant, though, it should thrive indoor and outdoor.
Like many Indica plants, Snow Monster has a flowering time of 7 to 9 weeks. Upon harvest, growers should be able to pick some 10 to 12 ounces of buds for every square meter.
Flowering time of Snow Monster is likely between September and October with each plant producing at least 12 ounces of buds.
