Growing Marijuana In Montana

For years, Montana has been an oasis for marijuana lovers in the northwest half of the United States. Unless you get past Idaho or head east to Minnesota, you’re somewhat in a weed dead zone. Now, Montana has taken even more steps to bring marijuana to the region. In November 2020, Montana voters approved Initiatives 190 and 118 making it legal for adults to purchase, possess, consume, and grow cannabis. House Bill (HB) 701 was signed into law in May 2021 legalizing adult-use marijuana.

      1. It’d be best to grow your own in the State of Montana. The dispensaries in this state are required to grow their own stock. We can outsmoke what a dispensary can Grow during the time span it takes to get some quality bud. The dispensary growers harvest the buds before they mature. The dispensary does not take the necessary time to cure the buds, they state the pot is curing on the display rack. They charge top dollar for mediocre concentrates. From my Observations there is little difference in appearance between the differing strains. It seems that one supposed strain is buds harvested from the top of Plant and another strain is possibly buds harvested from the bottom of the Plant. Sometimes they rub the sugar leaves off of some buds and leave them on other buds, thus altering The appearance of the buds. It costs $150 to pass your joke of a medical screening in order to participate in the state medical marijuana program. You can either grow your own and do it right or you can buy the above mentioned pot. You cannot do both.
Ps. If you buy unregulated pot you are most likely paying street price for bargain basement schwag the dispensary sells at a reduced price. This is Just my humble opinion of the montana MMJ Act of 2016 (amended).
