Big Bud here, is none of the above. It is exactly what its name say, big bud, and that is because it does have a massive bud that might pop your eyes out of its sockets as soon as you see it. Like people, physical appearance means nothing when they have no substance. So, what else is special about Big Bud, besides is size?

Let’s just say that Big Bud is a past winner of the Cannabis Cup.

Growers, especially commercial growers, in particular, loves Big Bud because of its large size and yield, which means more sales volume for them.

Big Bud has been around for a long time. A popular story on its origin is that it started in the 80s, during the administration of Nixon. Before the crackdown on cannabis, as part of the US war on drugs, it found its way to Netherlands. There, the strain was stabilized genetically, rather than being exterminated and wiped out of existence.

No one knows its exact origin, but the consensus is that is traces it lineage to Afghani, Northern Lights, and Skunk No. 1.

There are other variants of Big Bud, as it has been bred and rebred, and as far as we could tell, there are over a dozen variations, but the most popular one remains the one bred and sold by Sensi Seeds.

It does not have a high CBD, but Big Bud is huge for those who are suffering from pains and aches, as well as dealing with stress and anxiety issues, including PTSD, and depression.

It has a strong Indica side that has a sedative property that relaxes your body, thereby reducing tensions and symptoms of pain, but because of its potency, it also leaves you feeling lazy and lethargic.

For those who have lack of appetite, Big Bud is going to make you feel hungry an hour or two later after using. It is great for those with insomnia as the effect continues to subside, you start to feel sleepy.

Even so, growers should be mindful and be ready to provide support using tensioned wires or strings. While it is fairly easy to grow, this plant needs early topping and bending, which allows a more horizontal growth.

    Flowering Time

In 7 to 9 weeks, including the curing time, expect to have a yield of 12 to 20 ounces per square meter. This is when you grow Big Bug using hydroponics and use the Sea of Green (SOG) method of growing.

It will also require a good indoor grow tent with an ideal grow light. The reflective interior surface of the grow tent ensures that more light reaches the hard to reach parts of the plant as it grows.

You will be very relaxed and in the right mode will be asleep before you know it . Great smoke before bed .Very happy , Very hungry, very goofy high .

          Seriously dude.
          Nixon was the 70’s.

        5. Nixon resigned in the 70’s, therefore there wasn’t a Nixon administration in the 80s. Not hard to fact check.

        6. I recieved some of these seeds from a friend that ordered from you.
i kept clones of the earliest maturing, biggest yielding, earthy/pine fragrance, ive kept it for a year so far.

although i wish i had kept the lower yielding, citrus/fuel pheno it was so sticky and makes the best hash,

Big bud is now being grown along with some GSC competing for the keeper spot.

        7. Hey superbob,
