Shiatsu Kush is a Japanese strain that hails from the island of Amami Oshima, where it was brought over to us by BC Bud Depot. This strain was created in the underground cannabis scene of Japan, and is known for its therapeutic effects on both the mind and the body, similar to that of a shiatsu massage.

The strain’s exact parentage and genetics are unknown, but we do know that it is a powerful healer and contains medium to high THC levels. Shiatsu Kush’s aroma alone is invigorating and inviting, containing traces of vanilla, Cedar and other earthy and woody undertones.

        1. Robert: Spot on review. Grew 3 females last year. We also noticed these plants enjoy being trained. The plant most trained yielded almost 25 ounces. My wife and i both have distinct pain issues, and this is an evening go to strain. we test everything we grow and make our own tinctures and edibles. This is a strain that relaxes your body. It’s a little floaty. Wonderful with a movie or music. And it is beautiful to grow. The terpine profile is rich. Lots of myrcene. During veg growth, the myrcene is pronounced enough to hint at basil. Beautiful plant. Also must add a very high rate of seed cracking. The seeds themselves were of excellent quality. Thanks for reviewing this strain. It has become a go to for pain, but it is a completely pleasant and balanced high.
