There is a good reason why this strain was named Pure Power Plant. But first, here’s a question.
What does a power plant produce? This is a Sativa-dominant hybrid that energizes your brain and your body.
It does this by inducing creative thinking as well as boosting your energy.
What makes this strain popular is also because of the intense cerebral high that kicks in faster than many other hybrids.
In more ways than one, Pure Power Plant is one of the best strains if you were to use it to change your mood and start feeling good.
From what we could gather, Pure Power Plant is a cross between an African Sativa and North American Indica.
While it is not conclusive, but it seems that the actual strains used were Durban Poison and The Pure.
It also appears that this hybrid was created some two decades ago.
One thing to note here is that this is not a pure Sativa strain.
Besides the two strains mentioned, there are some who think that there might be another unknown Indica-dominant strain, which then makes it a three-way cross.

Perhaps Pure Power Plant is not the best strains to use for those new to smoking cannabis. This is a highly potent Sativa-dominant strain that rushes in a cerebral high that boosts creative thoughts and energy, but use a little too much, and it causes one to stay locked on the couch.

When it comes to head highs, this strain has got to be one of the best. Aside from a clear headed high, you also start to focus better. These are only if you consume only a small amount of Pure Power Plant. But once you start smoking more than enough, then the mental buzz increases and add to that the physical body relaxation its Indica side provides, then you and your couch may not want to separate from each other.
Feeling uplifted and extremely happy to the verge of euphoria, you might also start to feel hungry.
Pure Power Plant has a pleasing odor that is a nice mix of wood and citrus with strong notes of vanilla. If you are concerned with whether or not this strain has a pungent or strong odor, then you should not worry about that as it’s the strength of its fragrance is underwhelming.
No, the taste is not electrifying, but it is a skunky and wonderful blend of sweet citrus and vanilla. Pure Power Plant smells great, but it tastes even better, one that you will find delicious. Although it is flavorful, it is also not overwhelming.
Water and electricity do not work well together. In fact, they should never be mixed together. But for cannabis users, it is important to stay hydrated as one of the common reactions from smoking one is dry mouth and eyes.
Drinking water also helps in reducing or avoiding the chances of other reactions from manifesting. Some of them include dizziness and headaches, mostly because of the incredible intensity of the cerebral high, which in turn may also cause new users to panic.

Users of medical cannabis should find good use of Pure Power Plant. The strong cerebral high induced by consuming a small amount quickly takes away stress and makes it easier to manage anxiety disorders. As the sedative qualities of this strain kicks in, your body starts to feel relaxed. Of immediate benefit is the alleviation or relief from chronic pains and aches including migraines and headaches. Not only does it reduce the tensions from the body, but it is also used to lessen the discomfort caused by muscle spasms.
Although this is not what Pure Power Plant is known for, some users have reported feeling sleepy an hour or two after smoking this cannabis. This means that for those who have trouble sleeping, this strain might be of service.

Pure Power Plant needs only one clean energy to grow, and that is from the sun. Well, that is until we learned how to produce artificial sunlight for indoor growing. So, besides growing well outdoor in a Mediterranean climate with lots of sunlight, this cannabis also thrives well indoor especially in a hydroponics set up.
Growing up to 4-1/2 feet, Pure Power Plant has dense light green buds that are covered with a lot of orange colored hairs. While deemed as easy enough to grow, a little experience in the past would be best.
For commercial cannabis growers, one of the important things that are favorable to them is the yield. No, this is not going to give you an absurd and insane amount, but it still gives a better than average yield.
Pure Power Plant should be ready for harvest in around 8 to 9 weeks, and will have a yield of 14 to 18 ounces per square meter.
Outdoor, grown in a Mediterranean climate, it should be ready for harvest by late September to early October and should have a yield of 21 ounces or more per plant.

Can you tell me what is the preferred PH level for indoor growing in coco using hydroponic feeding .thanks
Good luck, Robert. I found my PPP plants (Nirvana seeds) to be slower starters than most of other 7 strains I’m currently growing but they caught up nicely after about 5 weeks outside. Cloth 7 gallon pots; homemade mix of organic soil, coir, perlite, worm castings. Initially made giant batch of above soil with organic supplements of blood & bone meal, bat & chicken guano, neem granules & dolomite lime. Let it on sit on tarp outside for a few weeks, turning over occasionally before final transplant of young plants. Feeding 1/3 to 1/2 strength Fox Farm outdoor nutes trio and small amounts of unsulphured molasses plus occasionally top dressing with castings & neem granules. Using tap water that sits for a few days prior to watering. Aggressive low stress scroggish training using craft soft ties and safety pins (easy to attach to & adjust on cloth pots!) to spread branches to maximize only 75% full sun access in northeast climate. Planted first week of June under 24/7 lights inside for 3 weeks (transplanted once then). Now 10 weeks into veg. and vigorously bushy & hardy. Got an old dog who likes to graze on lower leaves of plants. Today she purposefully smelled a White Widow and a Strawberry Banana before choosing PPP and nibbling for @ 5 minutes straight before taking a nap, lol!
I’m growing my first ever plant. My friend gave it to me as a seedling as he had more than the maximum number of plants allowed, by only one. I do not have a grow room so by using my bedroom window in February and then a light bulb to extend the number of hours it would be able to achieve photosynthesis. As it warmed up, I would move it back and forth from inside to outside to inside to fool it into believing it was receiving its 12’s! She is an impressive plant, cilovered in clear trichomes! If you’d like a pic let me know!
