Stardawg Strain

Stardawg may very well be the most potent strain in the lineage of the legendary Chemdawg #4. In a way, naming this strain with a star is apt and justified. Because Stardawg is a Sativa-dominant strain, you might expect it to bring a powerful cerebral high. Using a small amount, this strain could bring out creativity in you. It could also give you a boost in energy level. But use more of it, and it leaves you with a buzzing head high that feels like you are taking a journey among the stars.

Sativa/Indica % Indoor Yield Outdoor Yield Flowering Period
90%/10% 3 to 4 ounces per square meter 3 ounces or more per plant 63 to 73 days indoors, early to mid-October outdoors

While some assume that this strain is 60% Sativa, others have agreed that its Sativa side is way more than that at up to 90%. Regardless, this is a Sativa-dominant strain that took a lot of years before it came to be.

From one of the most popular cannabis strains in the world, Chemdawg #4, the breeder crossed it with Tres Dawg to create Stardawg. It is sometimes spelled as Star Dawg, while others have called it Star Dog. The consensus is that this is the most potent strain in the Chem line.

The head high you experience in using Stardawg in a small amount helps your mind think, but for most people, it boosts the morale by uplifting one’s mood to new heights that makes one feel extreme elation, one of euphoria and immense feeling of joy.

Although minimal, the Indica side will have an effect on the body too. Once it creeps in, not only does the mental head high settle down, but the whole body feels more relaxed.

The immense euphoria and body relaxation that Stardawg brings make it a go-to choice for those seeking a potent cannabis strain. Find strains with similar traits in our shop.

The strong head high can cause some smokers to feel dizzy or have a mild headache. In some cases, and mostly due to overusing, the sudden cerebral high might prove too much causing momentary episodes of panic.

For those suffering from chronic pains and aches, Stardawg might be of benefit in mild cases. Besides helping in alleviating the symptoms of pain, it is also beneficial in dealing with bouts of nausea.

As the effects of the Sativa side subsides, you may start to feel hungry. For that reason, this is a good strain for those who need help in improving their appetite.

Stardawg is mostly used by recreational users. For medical cannabis users, while this strain does have medical benefits, there are other strains that are better suited. Because most of the medical use of cannabis deals with the body, a better choice would be Indica-dominant strains with higher CBD.

        1. Just away to harvest dome fadtbuds Stardawg, I love the strain but this pack of beans and some other folks I know agree that it maybe have been rushed the plants seem to throw out all kinds of phenos, and it’s like the best pheno hasn’t been selected and bred. My grow space has me scratching my head, all plants from the same source, no variables through out the grow yet I have a dawg plant thats maybe 2ft by 2ft, and then I have another that is 5 to 6 foot..better breeding and pheno selection is required imo

        2. 3_4 Oz per square meter, that’s what amateurs get, I. Been running this strain for quite a while now , 5 week veg and 10week flower , 4 plants 4 600w hps gets me around 16 Oz a plant , I’d recommend you leave this girl to flower and extra week (or count after the transition week )

        3. I dont see how ppl say it doesn’t yield well. If you use rdwc and stick to the usual abc steps to growing weed you will get good yeilds. 6-12 oz per plant.(drift your ph 6.3 start of veg and work down to 5.5. Likes reasonable warm temps throughout.

        4. I’m growing stardawg and that is really easy strain to grow what I did realised builds up buds mainly on to main coral and few small brunches with not to little but kind a small nugets Unfortunately is still growing was left until Harvey time about 2-3 Weeks so I haven’t smoke yet my own pretty lady hehe but it’s looks so far sooooo taste

        5. I have grown this many times and it is best managed indoors, if managed well this is will produce a fine crop. This plant can produce five or six ounce per plant if you pay it the right attention i.e. topping at the right time, pruning etc…. A fine plant
